Ted’s Dead is what happens when life screws you over… and then refuses to let you die anyway. Meet Ted: a depressed, metalhead zombie with a dangling eyeball, a rotten grin, and the worst superpower imaginable—he literally can’t stay dead. While the rest of the undead shuffle around like brainless bargain-bin extras, Ted’s stuck in an endless existential crisis, trying (and failing) to off himself in increasingly creative ways. It’s dark, it’s messy, and it’s basically a self-help story—if self-help meant explosions, sarcasm, and a whole lot of undead bad decisions.
This Ashcan comic is 8 pages and previews 4 pages of the 7 page story. Each Ashcan comic will come hand signed and numbered.

I want more! Does Ted activate the nuke and leave a crater of scorched earth in his wake? The backstory is good! Degenerate left to roam an apocalyptic landscape after his untimely demise. A fitting punishment, but there’s a message to the reader, also. Adds another level to the story. The art is phenomenal! It’s a style that I expect, but also appreciate from the underground comics. This is what a horror comic should be! Foul language, dirty, gritty, sexy… It adds a level of honesty. It lets the intrusive thoughts out and we all have those. It’s just who’s brave enough to share.
I want more! Ted says what everyone is thinking. No filter no BS just straight talk. I was hooked from line one and can’t wait to get my hands on more Ted and the other stories in Ohio is for Serial Killers!
Ted’s Dead the ashcan is the first taste of Richaed Jones III’s Stories of the Dead. Folks, this little sample leaves you wanting the story. The subtle sarcastic jokes aee perfectly places as you see Ted shuffle his curse an what a cliff hanger. The artwork is on another level and proves again why Rich is an unmatched indie talent with the level of denial in each panel. I for one cannot wait for Halloween this year to finish Ted’s tale and see what else is in store for us in his Stories of the Dead.
